1. Accuracy of Information
I certify that all facts contained in this application are true, accurate, and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that misrepresentation, omission, or falsification of any information on this application shall constitute grounds for immediate dismissal, regardless of the time of discovery.
2. Authorization to Investigate
I authorize ApexGuard Security Inc. to investigate all statements contained in this application. I authorize all former employers, references, educational institutions, and reporting services to provide ApexGuard Security Inc. with any and all information they possess regarding my employment history, character, and qualifications. I release all such parties from any liability for furnishing such information.
3. Criminal Record Authorization
I authorize and request federal, provincial, and local government agencies — including law enforcement and probation officers — to release to ApexGuard Security Inc. any information regarding criminal convictions on my record. A photocopy, digital scan, or electronic copy of this authorization shall be as valid as an original signed document.
4. At-Will Employment
I understand that employment with ApexGuard Security Inc. is at-will. If hired, my employment is for no definite period and may be terminated at any time, with or without cause, and with or without prior notice, regardless of the date or timing of any wage or salary payments.
5. Non-Solicitation of Client Accounts
I acknowledge and agree that, for a period of one (1) year following the termination or conclusion of my employment with ApexGuard Security Inc. — for any reason — I will not seek, accept, or maintain employment in any capacity (whether as an employee, contractor, volunteer, or otherwise) with any client, facility, or organization that was a client of ApexGuard Security Inc. and at which I was deployed, assigned, or had operational involvement during my tenure. This restriction applies to all positions and roles, whether or not related to security services.
6. Confidentiality
I understand that in the course of my employment I may have access to confidential information about clients, site operations, and security protocols. I agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all such information during and after my employment with ApexGuard Security Inc.
7. Work Eligibility Declaration
I declare that the information I have provided regarding my legal eligibility to work in Canada is truthful, accurate, and complete. I understand that I must provide valid proof of work authorization (such as a Canadian passport, permanent resident card, or valid work permit) prior to commencing employment. I further understand that providing false or misleading information regarding my work eligibility is grounds for immediate termination of employment, regardless of when the misrepresentation is discovered.
